Sand Beach, Acadia National Park, Maine. I really like how the water, the wave, and the sand/sandy water all have different colors.

For this picture, as with the rest of the pictures I am going to submit of this trip, there are minor changes, namely levels and color balance, as well as some possible color enhancements. I feel that I am still well within my right to place them within the Photography category. If anyone objects and thinks they should be moved to the Photo-Manipulation category, I shall comply.
...Was your camera tilted, since the horizon makes it seem that way. The island is also blurry and sky a bit pixel-y. (...I point things out too much, sorry.)
But, the wave does look cool. Imagine manipulating this to make it seem like a huge tidal wave.
I don't think Maine is hit with too many tidal waves, especially in the bays... XD
And yes, as previously mentioned, my camera, although nice, likes to be grainy and I tend to twitch just when it wants to take a long exposure picture... and I was in the water, half sinking, so that accounts for tilty-ness.
Well, it'd be cool if it happened. Shouldn't be that hard to exaggerate... Maybe a cropping of the photo, an addiction of some shadows, change in colors...
Manips don't really like me that much... I have only really done one, it is presently a large print in my living room, and I forgot to shadow something... My leg to be precise. I'm sitting on a large mushroom and one leg has a drop shadow, the other does not...
Do you remember earth science? Oh course how can we forget The water was eroding the sand from under my feet leaving me to stand on something similar to those rock pillars in deserts? I nearly fell (with my phone and camera) into the water a couple times
Very nice. That's why you always have to double check and save a file of it just in case you need to edit stuff... Flipping it around helps too, looking at it from different angles.
